Mixed Feelings. Ongoing…

So I purchased these winglets from Carbon factory and was recommended by them to go to one of the authorised fitters listed on their website to get the parts fitted.

As recommended I go to an authorised fitter listed on their website and the winglets end up being fitted asymmetrically. Fitters claim error with the moulding, Carbon factory claims error in fitment.

Regardless, CARBON FACTORY states that they TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY for any WORK DONE BY the AUTHORISED FITTERS listed on their website.

I can say Carbon factory’s communication was good, they’ve tried to assist me and got back to me quickly however I must say I’m currently left in a position where the fitter has their claims and Carbon factory has theirs whilst my car is either fitted with faulty parts or parts that have been fitted poorly and neither side is taking responsibility.

I’m taking the car back to the garage to have them take measurements soon so I’ll update the review if anything changes.

If the garage believed the item was faulty, they should have contacted us before fitting the part incorrectly, so we could have guided them properly and avoided this situation.
